Polar bears are inhabitants of the Arctic region, specifically around the North Pole. They are natural hunters, and their preferred prey is seals, which they can catch with a speed of up to 40 km/h. Thanks to their excellent sense of smell, they can easily locate their prey from a long distance. Polar bears are also great swimmers and divers and can stay underwater for two minutes. While their fur is white and blends in with the snowy and icy surroundings, their skin is black. Female polar bears dig snow caves in October where they give birth to their young, who are born blind and deaf and are only 20 to 30 cm tall. The PVC-free Bullyland play figure of a polar bear is about 7.5 cm tall, hand-painted with great detail to replicate the real animal.
