In The Resistance, players form a resistance cell fighting to undermine an oppressive Empire in a dystopian future. Success depends on teamwork, deduction and the ability to identify hidden traitors within the group.
Players propose teams to undertake missions, then secretly decide whether those missions succeed or fail. Resistance members must work together while Imperial spies attempt to disrupt the group from within. Open discussion, persuasion and careful observation are central to every round.
The game supports social deduction without player elimination, so everyone remains involved until the end. The third edition is suitable for group play and offers a compact tabletop experience for friends and family gatherings.
