Pandemic (2013)
Work together to protect the world from dangerous disease outbreaks in Pandemic, a cooperative strategy board game for family and adult players. Each player takes on a specialist role, such as a Medic, Researcher or Operations Expert, and contributes unique abilities to the team’s shared response.
Travel between cities, treat infections, collect matching sets of City cards and discover cures before outbreaks spread beyond control. Every decision matters: players must balance urgent treatment with longer-term planning while managing limited actions and an unpredictable infection deck.
How to play
Key features
- Choose a role and prepare the board with disease cubes and cards.
- Use actions to travel, treat disease, share knowledge and research cures.
- Respond to new infections and outbreaks as the game progresses.
- Work together to discover all four cures before the team loses.
With changing challenges and strong emphasis on communication, each game offers a different cooperative puzzle. Pandemic is designed for 2–4 players and is suitable for players aged 8 and over.
