This updated edition revisits the foundations of Nippon with refreshed presentation and reworked systems. New resource types, revised ship mechanisms and Iwakura missions, more varied factories and rewarding consolidation turns add further decisions to each game. An automa-driven solo mode also lets one player take on the challenge.
