Get ready for a sneaky twist on a family favourite with Mattel UNO Liar’s. This fast-moving card game combines the familiar colour and number-matching fun of UNO with bluffing, challenges and plenty of opportunities to keep a straight face.
Players take turns playing cards face down while announcing what they claim to have played. Are they telling the truth, or trying to fool everyone? Other players can challenge the play. If the player was caught lying, they must draw cards; but if they were telling the truth, the challenger pays the penalty instead. The aim is to get rid of all your cards, but when you are down to one card, you still need to shout “UNO!”
Designed for 2 to 6 players aged 7 years and over, UNO Liar’s is a lively choice for family games nights, parties, holidays and quick rounds with friends. Special graphic symbols on the cards help players identify the colours, making the game more accessible for players with colour blindness.
The individual retail pack includes 112 cards and instructions. With simple core rules and a mischievous bluffing mechanic, every round can play out differently as players decide when to tell the truth, when to risk a lie and when to call someone else out.
