Guerre Eclair recreates the German invasion of France, Belgium and the Netherlands during the dramatic campaign of May 1940. One player commands the German forces, using concealed plans, concentrated armoured units and carefully chosen cards to break through Allied positions. The other player leads the French and British forces, attempting to anticipate the attack, organise a resilient defence and launch timely counter-attacks.

Each game combines hidden objectives, tactical positioning and changing momentum, creating a compact but demanding contest for two players. The card-driven system is accessible to newcomers while offering meaningful decisions for experienced strategy gamers.
