In this strategic city-building game, develop businesses across nine districts while creating connected networks and extending your influence among the city’s three major factions: the Council of Four, the Flaming Fist and the Thieves’ Guild.
As buildings are added to the board, influence cubes show which families control the growing city. Special keeps, gates and watchtowers are represented by building miniatures with spaces for influence cubes, giving the developing city a distinctive three-dimensional presence.
Baldur’s Gate is also threatened by dangerous monster attacks from its outer walls and harbour. These crises can encourage temporary alliances, but each family will seek to turn every challenge to its own advantage. Designed by Matthew Dunstan, this game combines area influence, network building and changing threats in a richly themed Forgotten Realms setting.
