China's War: 1937–1941
China's War: 1937–1941 is a historically focused strategy board game covering the opening years of the Second Sino-Japanese War. Players take control of one of four competing factions: Japan, the Chinese Government, the Chinese Communist Party or the Warlords.
Military, political and economic actions shape the struggle for influence across China. Players manoeuvre forces, affect populations, extract resources and respond to changing events as they pursue their faction's objectives. A card-driven system determines turn order, events, victory checks and other key processes.
The game includes rules for a standard four-player experience and non-player factions, supporting solitaire, two-player and three-player games. As Volume XIII in GMT Games' COIN series, it uses the series' distinctive approach to modelling modern and historical conflicts while presenting the complex political and military situation of China between 1937 and 1941.
