Build a woodland kingdom above the forest floor
Builders of Sylvan Dale is a strategic three-dimensional tile-placement game for players who want to outbuild their rivals. Designed by Peter Ridgeway, the game challenges architects to develop a growing woodland settlement by placing dwellings higher and higher among the trees.
Play cards to add new buildings, collect matching sets and unlock useful actions, including bridges and magical treetop growth. The game is played over two rounds, with players dividing their tiles between the phases and competing for influence across the forest.
At the end of each round, players assess prestige on individual trees and determine control of each district before calculating fame points. Careful planning, tactical card play and clever positioning are needed to become the most celebrated architect in Sylvan Dale.
