2001: A Space Odyssey Board Game
Take control of a perilous mission to Jupiter in this strategic board game inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. One player takes the role of HAL, while the remaining players work together as the crew to keep the spacecraft operational and complete the mission.
HAL can disrupt vital systems and exploit the crew’s weaknesses, creating a tense asymmetrical challenge. Each crew member has distinct abilities to support the team, but cooperation and careful planning are essential for survival. To succeed, the crew must complete three logic sequences inside the HAL Core before the mission is lost.
How to play
Key features
- Play as HAL or as a team of spacecraft crew members.
- Manage sabotaged systems and respond to changing threats.
- Use crew abilities to overcome obstacles and advance the mission.
- Complete the three logic sequences before HAL takes control.
With its one-versus-many format and cinematic science-fiction theme, this game offers a distinctive challenge for fans of 2001: A Space Odyssey and cooperative strategy games.
