Penguins are flightless birds, but their wings are perfectly adapted for swimming. They are carnivorous and feed mainly on small shoal fish and squid. Both male and female penguins take care of their offspring, with the female laying the egg and the male incubating it for 60 days without eating. The female then leaves to find food while the male takes care of the egg, and when the chick hatches, both parents take turns feeding and caring for it. Penguins are mainly found in the southern hemisphere, with the largest populations around Antarctica. The Bullyland penguin figure is approximately 9.5 cm tall, hand-painted to look true to life, and has been awarded the "spiel gut" seal of approval. Recommended for ages 3 and up.
